The alt attribute is one of the tags found in the language of HTML. ALT is used to insert an alternative description in images inserted into a page. Search engine robots are not able to analyse graphics like a human, if there is no description, the robot will understand that there is no graphic. Having our graphics noticed by the indexing robots has a direct impact on the position of the page in the search engines. The alt attribute directly affects positioning graphics. The alternative description is also read by visually impaired people through a special web browsing programme.
