What is keyword cannibalisation?
Keyword cannibalisation is when more than one subpage of a website is optimised for the same keyword. Unfortunately, websites with narrow specialisation are prone to this type of situation because they have similar content. This can be caused, for example, by publishing articles on the same or very similar topics. Keyword cannibalisation should be avoided, as it negatively affects the positioning website and leads to unstable search engine positions. Which ultimately leads to less traffic to the site from search engines.
