FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a type of protocol that allows you to connect to a computer server. This allows you to upload or delete files on it. To do this you need to use applications that are called FTP clients. There are both free and paid versions. The connection itself is very simple, as you only need to enter the relevant data to connect to the server. Today's web browsers mostly have the ability to read and download files from FTP.
