Google Dance is the phenomenon of a search engine displaying different results for a given key phrase. This happens when the search engine uses different databases to provide it with answers. The answers displayed are different from each other. Because the results provided to the search engine from different databases also differ. We do not know which exact algorithm is directly responsible for the redirects to the different databases. However, analysing this type of search engine behaviour can give valuable clues when positioning a website.
