What is a Hyperlink?

Hyperlink (from English hyperlink, means: link, cross-reference, link, hyperlink) is a link that is intended to redirect us to another document or elsewhere in the document. This can be a document e.g. text, graphic, video, animation, PDF, HTML. It works when you hover the cursor over or click on a hyperlink. They are distinguished in the text by colour or underlining. The most common colour is blue or purple.
