If you are positioning or using plug-ins for SEO (i.e. Yoast SEO), it is possible that you have come across SEO linking words. We often search for answers on Google.co.uk and this time you probably arrived at this article in the same way.
When you are positioning or optimising your websites, you will notice that it is the case that more and more companies are running blogs of various kinds, which mainly target specific keywords or key phrases. What's more, if the article in question is of high quality, it will end up higher on the Google.co.uk search list and will also attract new potential customers. In this way, business owners focus on ensuring that texts are as SEO-optimised as possible. One important factor to pay attention to is precisely the linking words - otherwise known as transition words.

How can transition words ultimately influence customer acquisition?
Whether you are running blogor company website, one of the most important activities is to effectively target potential customers. No one likes to spend hours and hours on a particular project, which at a later stage turns out to be something that has no effect. I'm guessing that when you prepare articles, you try to make them comprehensive and stand out for their quality. What's more, you probably also look for information on the web to help you improve your texts so that they are the best I can be. Below, I will reveal the secret of how to use SEO transition words correctly.

SEO link words - what are they and how to use them on a website?
Transition words are connectors that ideally link sentences, paragraphs. They are intended to increase the readability of the text, to make it more user-friendly and to make it better received by Google's algorithm. On the other hand, it is worth focusing first and foremost on user benefit - it is a bad technique to optimise texts only for Google's algorithms.
Ok, then what linking words should/could I use?
because | therefore | likewise | due to the fact | perhaps | probably | therefore | summarising | summarising | an important aspect is | noteworthy is the fact | while | certainly | in contrast to | indisputably | concluding | in conclusion | indeed | undoubtedly | to explain | although | although | suppose, that | almost | concluding | above all | even more | undoubtedly | even more | seems | concluding | once | previously | at the end | suppose | to explain | as a result | in opposition to
Now you have surely noticed that transitional words are also used in this text. They are naturally used by us. On the other hand, there are not always enough of them and an appropriate distribution in the text.

Words, linking phrases can be divided into different categories - mainly based on their relevance:
- Cause / Reason (because, for, on account of, in relation to)
- Comparison / Contrast (similar to, in opposition to, while, formerly, in opposition to)
- Conclusion / Summary (therefore, concluding, concluding, concluding, concluding, concluding, concluding)
- Fuzzy signals / Uncertainty (probably, it seems, almost)
- Pressure/conviction (certainly, even more, noteworthy, above all, undoubtedly, unquestionably, certainly, undoubtedly)
We already know what words to use to link sentences and statements, but another mystery is how to use them judiciously and skilfully. It just so happens that with everything in life you have to have moderation - another will say: "it's the balance that counts". So, too, in SEO, all actions in this optimisation of the text in terms of connecting words is worth more attention and consideration.
Personally, I recommend using these words within the framework of a healthy policy, i.e. if the number of words does not "sting" too much, the text should be received in a friendly manner. I will repeat myself, but the most important thing is that the article or entry should be readable, so that you want to read at least half of it.

Website positioning will now be no secret
It's no secret that even if an article really exhausts a topic, that doesn't mean it will gain attention. A great deal depends on how it ranks in search results. If you create content on popular content management systems - the CMS e.g. WordPress then you probably have one of the plugins installed that check and suggest what is worth changing in the text in question. One such plugin is Yoast SEO. If you don't already have it then be sure to upload the SEO plugin.

Why is a plug-in for SEO important? Because it helps you to easily verify errors and point out places that need more attention. Yoast SEO indicates a number of parameters by which you can see whether you are going in the right or wrong direction. Among all the parameters is the Readability score, which consists of several factors. One of them is Transition words, which is SEO linking words or transition words in Polish. Although this term does not really have a good representation in Polish , I have still come across the translation 'transit words'.

How do you write SEO texts?
If you want to find out how to write SEO textsI prepared a full compendium some time ago, from which you will learn a lot of important information. Nevertheless, it is worth bearing in mind a few basic principles that not everyone is aware of.
First of all, before starting to write the article itself, it is a good idea to check whether a keyword or phrase is in demand by users. One of the most popular and, at the same time, free tools to do this is keyword planner from Google. It is a very good tool that can suggest and suggest keywords.
Another important element that you cannot forget is whether you provide services or sell products locally, regionally or, for example, nationwide. In the case of the first two options, it is worth using positioning regional and local. The reason for this is that only then will you reach your target group more effectively. Find out more about local SEO here.

SEO copywriting is not as easy as it sounds
Many people have a problem with another thing, namely the frequency of use of keywords. It is very common to see a situation where a keyword appears in a given text, in every second sentence. This seems like a good tactic, but in reality, it does not work. What is more, search engine robot may consider such an article as spam and place it low in the search engine. It is assumed that the frequency of the key phrase throughout the article in relation to the content should oscillate around 1%. What's more, you can't forget that nowadays robots are very intelligent and can conjugate words by cases, so you no longer have to think about how to properly incorporate a phrase into your content.
One other method I use is to analyse the TOP 10 of my competitors - that is, I check how often my competitors use keywords on their pages and adjust the frequency of a given keyword phrase on my post accordingly.
Graphics are important in positioning too!
Even if you create really high-quality content, it won't index well without the right images. One of the most important rules is the one about naming image files appropriately. Each image should contain keywords and, once it's on the site, it should also keyword may appear in the alternative text. By doing this, we tell Google's algorithms what phrases we want our subpage to be seen for in the SERP - (Search Engine Results Pages) - which is the list of search results.
How not to get lost in all this?
In conclusion, above all it is good to know moderation, because everything in excess leads to the opposite effect. Avoid simple mistakes and keep an eye on your SEO optimisation. SEO link words are worth using, but with caution. The situation is similar with keyword frequency. If you want to control your texts in terms of quality, then install a suitable SEO plug-in that monitors this parameter. It will let you know whether the right amount of linking words is included in the text.
