This task may seem complicated, especially for those who have no experience in the area of online advertising. However, this does not have to be the case at all! In this article, I provide step-by-step instructions on how to give your Facebook Ads agency access to your Facebook Ads account so that you can run your campaigns effectively.

What are the three levels of access to a Facebook Ads account?

Granting access to the Company Manager
Facebook Business Manager is a tool that is used to manage a company's resources, such as Facebook pages, advertising accounts and pixels. It facilitates the integration of marketing activities in the Meta ecosystem and collaboration with external partners. The Business Manager works in parallel with the Meta Business Suite and the Ad Manager on Meta platforms.
To grant access to the Company Manager:
- Log in to Facebook Business Manager. You can also go there by selecting on Facebook View all from the menu on the left → Pages → Meta Business Suite
- Now, from the menu on the left, select the gear at the very bottom, i.e. Settings
- Then select from the menu on the left Company account information
- A transition to the company settings will appear (you can also use the of this link)

5. in section Users click Partners → Add
6. select the option → Grant your partner access to your resources and enter your ID (your agency should give it to you)
7. tick all the resources you would like to make available to your partner, define their role and when you have finished click Save

That's it! You have successfully made your resources in the Company Manager available to your partner
If you are completely unfamiliar with the Meta environment, you can ask the agency to request access to the various elements that are necessary as part of your activities. For the agency to request access, it will need your advertising account number or Company Manager.
To find the ID of your advertising account:
- enter the Ads Manager using of this link
- you will see the identification number of the advertising account next to its name, above the search and filter bar

To find the Company Manager ID:

Once you have found the ID number you want, all you have to do is copy it and give it to the agency. It will then send a request for access with a specific authorisation level, and you will receive a notification and accept the request.
No problem - this can be remedied quickly. If this is the case, it is advisable to create and set up a Company Manager so that you can have the greatest control over your Facebook adverts.
